A student newspaper story about the transfer of football players leads to censorship, prior review, and threats to fire the adviser

After an Arkansas high school newspaper published a story about 6 football players who transferred to a rival school, school administrators ordered the story to be taken down from its online publication, sparking backlash among journalism and First Amendment organizations. Although the school eventually allowed the article to be re-posted, it immediately implemented a new prior review policy for the school, warning the administrator that if she didn't follow it, she could face punishment including possible termination.
